LG’s Android flagship Optimus G coming to the US in November
LG has confirmed that its next flagship Android phone, the Optimus G, will be launching in the US this November. Details of the phone were announced last month , and we checked out the Japanese NTT Docomo variant shortly thereafter. Today was our first chance to see the global version for ourselves, however; it’s much the same, save for the rounded corners, a smaller flash, and more prominent LG branding. The Optimus G is LG’s effort to leverage its many subsidiaries and create a vertically integrated flagship device that can compete with the likes of Samsung. LG also let us know a little more about the “zerogap” integrated touch display technology used in the Optimus G’s 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 IPS display
