Engadget has obtained photos of the LG VS930, a handset that appears to be Verizon’s version of the LG Optimus LTE 2 . The VS930 passed through the FCC last month, and stands as the logical successor to the LG Spectrum (VS920). According to Engadget ‘s source, the device will ship with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, as well as Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. The device will also reportedly feature 16GB of internal storage, along with a 1280 x 720 HD display, potentially of the 4.7-inch, “True HD” IPS variety. Other specs include global radio and NFC capabilities, though it remains to be seen whether the LG VS930 will come with the 2GB of RAM included with the Optimus LTE 2.
