EU investigating Windows RT for allegedly blocking browser choice

Yesterday the European Commission revealed that it was going to be investigating whether Microsoft had properly complied with a 2009 commitment to allow users to choose their default web browsers in Windows — and now eyes are turning towards Windows RT as well. Reuters is reporting that the EU will be looking into the tablet-focused version of Microsoft’s upcoming operating system, and the decision to make Internet Explorer 10 the only available browser in the Metro environment.
