Google working on Metro style version of Chrome for Windows 8
We already knew that a Metro style version of Firefox was in the works, and now Google has confirmed that it’s working on a version of Chrome for the platform. Speaking to Mashable , a Google rep explained that the new version of the browser will work for both the desktop and Metro versions of Windows 8. This would put Chrome into the newly revealed third category of Windows 8 apps — Metro style enabled desktop browsers, which are single apps that can work in both environments.
