Many people will be going to the AT&T or Apple stores to get their iPhones only to be surprised that they will not get the 199 price, or they wont get the 3G.  If you have a current iPhone, and dont live in a 3G area, there is no reason to upgrade.  Go to the AT&T iPhone site and see if you qualify of the 199/299 prices, or if 3G is in your area.
