WiFiMaps.com – Location Based Hot Spot WiFi 802.11b

Now this scares me. WiFiMaps.com is an interactive web application for displaying detailed maps of wardriving data, and for locating WiFi hotspots. I live in Des Moines, I check my zip code and found over 25 open WiFi networks. MY NETWORK WAS ON IT!! I like most people, assumed that none of my neighbors have WiFi, and never thought that someone in would Wardrive by me in Des Moines.

I will putting up my VPN today.

So far, I am amazed. I am listening to the current King Geek, Chris Pirillo, talk about RSS. RSS, Will it go mainstream. I don’t know. I cant see my mom, loading a News aggregator.
